Chelsea to make another attempt to sign Enzo before transfer deadline (reliability: 4 stars)

As per Record Portugal, Chelsea are set to make one final attempt to sign Enzo Fernandez from Benfica this summer.

The Blues had their previous bid rejected which was far off the mark Benfica had set for the player. They only want his complete release clause paid if he is to be let go of.

Benfica want to increase his release clause from €120 million to €150 million as they expect Chelsea to make another attempt for him.

The clause will also offer him €2 million on the promise of staying until the summer.
