'One last rodeo': Chelsea fans name ex-boss who would perfectly replace Potter - not Tommy T

Chelsea are still struggling to find their feet under Graham Potter. The Blues have only won four out of the last 16 games across all competitions - and only two out of eight since the World Cup break.

No wonder, then, that a lot of the fans are already looking at coaches who could replace Potter - even though his position is not in immediate danger. Moreover, some of them are looking at the Chelsea past for a solution.

Thomas Tuchel's sacking is still in the fans' memories, while Jose Mourinho would reportedly love a third stint at Stamford Bridge.

However, one more name mentioned by some supporters is Carlo Ancelotti who reportedly has a conflict with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.

Should he become available, these fans think Chelsea should pursue him.

JayRad: "Ancelotti for one last rodeo at Chelsea next season? Can’t see him staying at Madrid after this summer so can see them throwing big bucks at him to come"

Kwesi Zangetsu: "Now that I think about it in all my Chelsea years I've only been satisfied with Coach's selection. That's Carlo Ancelotti. Every coach since then has had glaring obvious square pegs in round holes!!"

OnePrinceBorga: "A squad like this for Chelsea would be better suited to a more experienced manager who keeps it simple tactics-wise, keeps the vibe positive, keeps the egos in check and just lets the players play in their best positions. (Ancelotti. I'm talking about Ancelotti, by the by.)"

Rohan: "Chelsea can’t challenge for the PL next season with Graham Potter. The personalities in this squad will end up being too much for him. If I were Todd, I’d get the only former Chelsea manager that has shown he can manage elite talent & win it all - Carlo Ancelotti"

StudentOFThegame: "Graham Potter is a very good COACH, but the quality of this Chelsea is crying out for an Ancelotti, a MAN-MANAGER who lets the quality of his squad shine through."

The 0-0 draw against Fulham was yet another frustrating result for Chelsea who have only scored five goals in the last 11 games across all competitions.

It has been repeatedly reported that Graham Potter's position as the first team manager is not in danger - but there are plenty of fans calling for his head less than six months after he was appointed.

That said, there are supporters who believe that Potter has been given the hard task of trying to build a team out of over 30 players after the €600m transfer campaign led by Todd Boehly.

Mark B.: "How many of these players do you think Potter wanted? Never seen such a lack of cohesion. They look like Redknapp’s QPR."

Mat Pennell: "33 players … good luck keep them happy .. I think the owner thought it was an NFL roster"

Original: "Ask yourself if it’s Potter who requested for those players or the team owner just decided to buy them"

Ian Lavery Jnr: "No way Potter wanted all them players for Chelsea. It’s deffo the new owner who wanted them. Been playing too much football manager I think!"
