Chelsea suffered a damning 1-0 loss to Premier League relegation battlers Southampton on Saturday.
The Blues were very poor in the game, but the visitors produced an impressive display to win it.
Among their top performers was young midfielder Romeo Lavia, who helped his backline withstand pressure and also neutralized Chelsea’s attacking threat.
The 18-year-old is a rumored target for the Blues and put on a really encouraging display at Stamford Bridge.
His performance has impressed a number of Blues, who want Todd Boehly to sign him as a potential partner for Enzo Fernandez next season. Here are some reactions from Twitter.
