OFFICIAL: Andrey Santos re-joins Vasco da Gama on loan

Andrey Santos will spend the next four months on loan at Vasco da Gama, Chelsea's official website confirmed.

The 18-year-old midfielder signed for Chelsea in January from the same Brazilian club that he helped to win the promotion to the top flight last year.

Now, after the UK work permit application was rejected, Santos returns to his boyhood team until the start of the next season in the Premier League.

In the past few weeks, Santos captained the Brazil U20 side to the win in the South America Championship, becoming the best player and the best goalscorer in the competition.
