Premier League winning former Chelsea youth player forced to retire at just 26 years of age

Former Chelsea player Isaiah Brown has been forced to retire at the age of 26, due to recurring injury issues.

Brown was promoted to the first-team at Chelsea along with Ruben Loftus-Cheek, back in 2015 under Jose Mourinho.

The player only made one appearance for the Blues senior side but Mourinho made sure he received a Premier League medal when Chelsea lifted the title in 2015.

He was then was sent on loan to numerous clubs for the 6 years.

He finally signed with Preston North End on a permanent deal but his multiple Achilles tendon surgeries were not enough to get him back to full fitness.

He has announced his retirement, posting the following message on his social media accounts:

We wish you good luck in the next chapter of your life Izzy!
