Mauricio Pochettino will formally start working as the Chelsea head coach on July 1.
However, according to the Evening Standard's Nizaar Kinsella, he has already begun working with the Blues' co-sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart.
A striker, a goalkeeper and most possibly a midfielder will be on Chelsea's wishlist for the summer.
Pochettino has already listed some players he wants in the squad - and some of them are academy-trained.
The club's priority right now, however, is to trim the bloated squad and generate some funds before June 30 for Financial Fair Play purposes.
