Tammy Abraham suffers ACL injury while pushing former Chelsea teammate, likely to miss up to 9 months

Tammy Abraham has unfortunately suffered a devastating injury in the final game of the 2022/23 Serie A campaign.

According to Sky Italia, the former Chelsea striker could now be forced to spend up to nine months on the sidelines while recovering.

Abraham was involved in a incident with Ethan Ampadu — who is spending the season on loan at Spezia from Chelsea — when the injury happened.

The striker attempted to push the midfielder while fighting for the ball. However, the 25-year-old landed awkwardly and his leg just twisted in a horrible and painful way.
