'A very historic team': Moises Caicedo finally breaks silence on Chelsea links

Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo has finally acknowledged his links with Chelsea.

Speaking about his links to the London giants, he said: “It’s a big team, that’s true. A very historic team and I can’t say No, because it’s a very big, historic, beautiful team. The city as well is beautiful. It’s got everything beautiful.”

“What kid wouldn’t like to have teams like that talking about him? It’s something I handle well. I try to stay calm. I’m enjoying time with my family which is the most important thing at the moment...

“I know it’s pressure if you put it like that but I’m calm. I’m waiting for what God decides because He knows what is best for me.”

It’s quite clear that the Ecuadorian is itching to move to Stamford Bridge and is extremely flattered by the club’s interest in signing him.

The only thing holding the operation from going through is Brighton’s transfer fee demands and unwillingness to reach a compromise with Chelsea.

The Seagulls are adamant to receive £100m to let him leave, something which the Blues don’t want to pay.

Chelsea could raise funds by selling players though, and according to Fabrizio Romano, the Blues are looking to sell these 3 footballers👇
