Former Chelsea executive to become Saudi football director
"Saudi Pro League to appoint Michael Emenalo as its first director of football. Former Chelsea exec to play key role in building competition/clubs," reported David Ornstein.
Emenalo was Chelsea's technical director between 2011 and 2017 and will now be taking his talents to Saudi Arabia.
Ornstein also added: "57yo will bring staff, add more, develop local talent. Major statement of intent by Saudi Pro League."
Willian was offered to Chelsea
Nathan Gissing has reported that Chelsea were offered the chance to sign former player Willian this summer.
The club were not interested in bringing back the winger who is now a free agent after spending the last season at Fulham.
Maatsen to receive a chance to impress Pochettino
According to Felix Johnston, Ian Maatsen will be given plenty of game time during the pre-season in a bid to impress Mauricio Pochettino.

Italian reporter Alfredo Pedulla claims that Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio have added Callum Hudson-Odoi to their shortlist.
The winger broke through into the first team at Chelsea in 2018/19 which was Sarri's only season in charge of the team.
