Chelsea have officially signed Lesley Ugochukwu. He joins the club on a seven-year contract, and there's an option for an additional year. Ugochukwu was previously playing for Rennes, his hometown club, where he had a significant role last season.
Rennes finished fourth in France's Ligue 1 and also made it to the knockout stage of the Europa League. Now, he will be a part of Chelsea's squad, bringing his talent and skills to the team.
Co-sporting directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley said: "We’re delighted Lesley is joining Chelsea. He is an impressive young player who has already made his mark in Ligue 1."
