'It's not my problem': Brighton head coach leaves cryptic message over Moises Caicedo future

Brighton head coach Roberto De Zerbi has weighed in with his thoughts on Moises Caicedo's future after leaving him out of the squad for the Rayo Vallecano friendly on Sunday. It's safe to say that he has clarified nothing.

"I don’t know [if Caicedo returns to training on Monday]," De Zerbi said.

"If Moises leaves, we will find another important player. If Moises stays, I’ll be happy for us. It’s not my problem."

"At Brighton, it’s possible to lose some players; we always move forward."

Earlier, Brighton's CEO claimed that Caicedo was ruled out of the game with a minor injury. However, Fabrizio Romano claimed that it was a strong message from the player's side that he wants the Chelsea move.

Now, the Blues are preparing a new bid after their ₤80m offer was rejected.
