Moises Caicedo latest: player misses pre-season friendly, Brighton boss doesn't expect him back in training

Moises Caicedo missed Brighton's pre-season friendly clash against La Liga side Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.

Although it was initially claimed that the player had a hamstring injury, it was then reported that the 21-year-old was available to play.

Later that day, the rumours started to circulate on social media that the Ecuadorian was pushing for Brighton to accept Chelsea's offer of £80 million.

Meanwhile, Seagulls' manager Roberto De Zerbi did not provide any clarity after the game: "If he leaves, we will find another player. If he stays, I'll be happy. It's not my problem."
