'Not a big issue': Pochettino outlines Mudryk recovery timeline

Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that Mykhailo Mudryk will not face Luton this Friday.

"He won't be available for tomorrow. He is a player we hope to help perform in the way we believe he can perform," the Chelsea boss said at a pre-game press conference.

"It's not a big issue, we need to wait one week or maybe a few days."

According to the official Chelsea statement, Mudryk is 'starting rehabilitation having undergone assessments on an injury sustained in training this week'.

The 22-year-old came off the bench in both Premier League games for the Blues so far this season.
