Real Madrid plotting Reece James move again (reliability: 5 stars)

Real Madrid are not giving up on Reece James even despite the right-back signing a long-term deal with Chelsea and becoming the team's captain.

According to a Relevo journalist Rodra, the Whites still have the England international in mind when they discuss potential transfers. They are planning to try to sign him next summer.

Madrid have previously been credited with interest in James. It's been reported that they view him as an ideal replacement for the ageing Carvajal.

Reecey's contract with the Blues expires in 2028 and the club obviously has no intention to sell him.

The right-back is currently injured and is expected to be back in late September.
