In an interview, Romelu Lukaku has revealed why he kept quiet during his difficult summer spell when Chelsea constantly tried to offload him.
He said: "I don’t beat around the bush, I’ll speak in time… but if I actually said how last summer went everyone would be shocked!
"There were really times where I thought I might explode… 5 years ago, I probably wouldn’t have stood back and done it."
It's unclear what Lukaku even indicates with some of these comments, but he seems to be angry at Chelsea for how they handled him during the summer.
With Mauricio Pochettino not wanting him and his relations with the Blues now strained, the Belgian forward is likely to be swiftly sold in the summer.
