'I learned so much from him': Juan Mata names on player who became his best friend while at Chelsea

Juan Mata was one of the stars of the early 2010s at Stamford Bridge and one player who played alongside him at Chelsea as well as Spain was Fernando Torres.

The Champions League winning Spanish duo became close friends during their stint at the club and Mata recalls how important Torres was for him and his teammates.

"I consider him one of my best friends in my career (Fernando Torres). He was older, and he was more experienced.

"He was a very important player; he was always giving me and the others advice.

"He was very important for all of us, and I learned so much from him," finished the Champions League winner.
