Christopher Nkunku has been ruled out of Chelsea's game against Manchester City this Sunday. The French attacker was always going to miss that game having missed group training all through the week. Although he was spotted in the gym with Raheem Sterling earlier.
Chelsea confirmed that six of their players are currently injured ahead of the game against Man City. Let's look at those players and when they could return to action.
Christopher Nkunku (knee). The attacker is expected back in December.
Ben Chilwell (hamstring). The defender is expected back by January.
Romeo Lavia (ankle). The midfielder is out until late-November.
Trevoh Chalobah (hamstring). The defender is expected back in January.
Carney Chukwuemeka (knee). The midfielder should be back after the international break this month
Wesley Fofana (ACL). The defender is back until March/April next year.
