"It felt very strange playing against City for the first time," Cole Palmer told Sky Sports after Chelsea's 4-4 draw with his former side.
"I’ve got the utmost respect for a club I spent 15 years at, and it was nice to see some friends. I thought we were unlucky not to get the win but it was another great game.
"It was a long time waiting for the penalty, but I’ve scored a few and I felt confident. I’m not gonna say I work on penalties because I don’t – I trust in my natural ability, and thankfully it went in."
Palmer was cool-headed enough to score in the 94th minute even though Man City players tried to cynically delay the moment to pile up more pressure on him.
The 21-year-old scored and got Sky Sports' Man of the Match award for his performance, showing Pep Guardiola what he's missing.
