James talks Chelsea squad vibes
"We’re still a fairly new group. The more time we spend with each other the more understanding we have. That helps us. We have come a long way," Reece James told Chelsea's official website.
"Our performances in the past five or six weeks have picked up. Everyone is happy around the place. Our confidence is growing. Results help that. It’s the starting point. When we’re performing well as a team people are going to try more things and look more confident.
"We’ve had a tough run of games, and we’ve picked up some good points. We have stepped up. We need to keep building on this now."
Chelsea missed out on Endrick
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea invited the family of Brazilian teenage sensation Endrick to London in an attempt to sign him. However, the striker chose Real Madrid, whom he'll join next summer. Aged just 17, he has 15 goals in 56 appearances for Palmeiras.
Lukaku nets 4 goals in 20 minutes for Belgium
Romelu Lukaku scored four goals in a 20-minute spell in Belgium's 5-0 win over Azerbaijan.
This helped the Chelsea loanee set a Euros qualifying record, scoring 14 goals to beat the previous benchmark set by David Healy and Robert Lewandowski.
