Maybe you have seen somewhere on Twitter or other social media websites the conversation about Chelsea potentially selling Benoit Badiashile.
Is there any truth in this? Well, most likely no.
The story comes from a report by a Calciomercato journalist Daniele Longo, who claims that AC Milan are interested in signing both Badiashile and Malang Sarr. Yes, Chelsea still have Malang Sarr on the books, in case you've forgotten (I certainly did).
However, no credible source with a proven track record of breaking Chelsea transfer stories has reported anything on the potential sale of Badiashile. There are no credible reports on Chelsea being ready to part ways with the Frenchman, either.
And, to be frank, Calciomercato is not the most reliable source for Italian transfers out there. So no worries — the centre-back is not going anywhere.
One Chelsea fan took to Twitter, writing this: "Look guys we're obviously not selling Badiashile, I mean, I've been pretty active in calling out stupid decisions we've made but at some point, some decisions are so obviously stupid that suggesting we'd consider them is actually just a meme."
Another added: "Benoit Badiashile quite clearly has an extremely bright future at Chelsea. No idea why any club thinks he is for sale."
The 22-year-old returned from injury in October but has made only one appearance for the Blues so far this season, against Blackburn on November 1. He scored the opening goal in the 2-0 victory but hasn't played in the Premier League this term yet.
