Chelsea have struck a deal to sign Gabriel Moscardo for a fee over €25m, Brazilian football TV show Neto claim.
The rumours about the Blues' interest in the midfielder emerged in the summer and resurfaced earlier this month. Now it appears that the deal is done, although it hasn't been announced yet.
The 18-year-old has made 23 appearances across all competitions for Corinthians this season and is considered one of the biggest Brazilian talents at the moment.
Moscardo's main strengths are tackling, reading of the game and ability to move the ball forward. He has earned comparisons with Declan Rice.
"Since arriving at Corinthians, I have always been the deepest midfielder," Moscardo told Globo about his style of play (h/t Goal).
"I like the position, marking, a position that demands a lot, especially at Corinthians, being a pure player, who runs a lot, who gives himself. But I also have technical quality. I can play as a No.8, I think I have the strength to arrive in the area to finish the plays."
