Roberto De Zerbi: 'From the first minute until extra time, we played better than Chelsea'

"Football is very tough. You can play better than the opponent but you can still lose the game, especially if you make mistakes in the details," Brighton head coach Roberto De Zerbi said after his team lost to Chelsea.

"We conceded three goals in an incredible way. From the first minute until extra time, we played better than Chelsea, but in football, you can lose anyway."

Brighton lost 3-2 despite playing the whole second half with a one-man advantage.

Chelsea scored two goals through set pieces and the decisive goal from the penalty spot.
