'It’s about quick feet and sharp turns': Raheem Sterling on winning penalty v Fulham

"I was just happy to contribute in that way so that we could get the penalty," Raheem Sterling told the official Chelsea website after the Blues' 1-0 win over Fulham.

"It’s about quick feet and sharp turns, sometimes defenders dangle legs out and that’s what he did there. I was happy because sometimes I haven’t been given some that were clear, but I’m glad that the ref gave that one yesterday.

"Cole dispatched it brilliantly and we got the three points. He gets in positions really well and he can see that final pass into the box, that was a great pass."

Sterling is the best player in the Premier League history at winning penalties. The one against Fulham became his 26th in the competition, which is at least three more than any other player in its history.
