'Really worried about the mental side of the game': Chelsea fans debate Mudryk's Stamford Bridge future

It's fair to say that things have not been going well for Mykhailo Mudryk at Chelsea over the last few weeks.

Despite having a few bright games this season, the 23-year-old has been demoted to a back-up player by Mauricio Pochettino.

And some Chelsea supporters are worried about what the future holds for the 23-year-old winger at Stamford Bridge as he struggles for consistency.

NoResponsibility2756 (all reactions via /r/ChelseaFC): "He never makes runs behind the defence, just asks for the ball to feet and usually loses it soon after. If he can't utilise his pace he will never nail down a place here."

dunneetiger: "A loan could be quite good for him — ideally somewhere in the PL or AC Milan, they seem to understand how to use our players)."

Ridcullys-Pointy-Hat: "I'm really worried about the mental side of the game. Loose technical skills can be improved on, but he never seems to see the play. He's always reacting rather than anticipating."

Panini_Grande: "Needs to learn the basics of football. His positioning is awful, his reading is wretched, can't protect the ball, can't anticipate things. Right now though he's so far away from the required level I don't see him getting any meaningful game time at all."

Sure_Explanation2254: "Right now he panics and lacks composure — typical of a player letting the occasion or pressure cloud his mind and impact his ability to think clearly on the pitch."

AncientSkys: "Rubbish player with big fragile ego. Obsessed with social media and showing off instead of actually improving his shocking weaknesses. What a waste of money!"
