'Since we played them': Klopp assesses Chelsea ahead of League Cup final

Chelsea and Liverpool are to lock horns at Wembley on Sunday, February 25, in the League Cup final.

"Will we be big favourites [in the final]? Definitely not," Jurgen Klopp said after his side defeated Luton 4-1 in the Premier League on Wednesday.

"Since we played them [Chelsea] they have improved a lot and it will be tricky. This was exceptional tonight."

Liverpool are missing ten first-team players, with Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah last-minute absences against the Hatters.

"We don’t know nothing," Klopp added when asked whether they would feature against Chelsea. "We have to see, but I said it before the game as long as we have 11 players we will go for it."

Chelsea were soundly beaten at Anfield on January 31. Hopefully, the Blues have learnt their lesson and will put up a fight under the Wemley arc on Sunday.
