According to The Telegraph, Chelsea intend to expand their coaching staff by setting up a set-piece department.
Barely a month ago, Mauricio Pochettino suggested that he would rather have set-piece takers signed for the club, believing that the current coaching team was enough.
However, Chelsea have already sounded out candidates to work in the new department that will be working with the first team and beyond. There's a chance the club will sign more than one set-piece coach.
Sources at the club claim that Pochettino has been involved in the process despite initial scepticism. It remains to be seen how close the new specialists will be working with Pochettino's coaching staff, though.
