Another loanee returns to Chelsea, reason revealed

Chelsea loanee Angelo Gabriel has reportedly returned to London from Strasbourg.

According to Alsa Sports, the Brazilian winger is back at Cobham for treatment after picking up a groin injury.

The 19-year-old is claimed to have sustained a 'sports hernia', with initial reports putting the recovery timeline at between four and six weeks.

There's a chance, though, that Angelo won't be able to play this season again, having made 21 appearances for Strasbourg and registering three assists.
