16-year-old Chelsea wonderkid Kendry Paez was allegedly one of the members of the Ecuador national team that visited a nightclub in the US on March 24th night before their game against Italy on March 25th.
Kendry Paez, Robert Arboleda, Piero Hincapie and Gonzalo Plata were reportedly the players involved.
A blurry video surfaced on X which shows Paez signing a national team shirt for a fan and then cuts to a video of one of his teammates throwing money at scantily clad women in a strip club.
Kendry can be seen signing a shirt at a restaurant.
The clip cuts to a seemingly different location where his teammate can be seen showing off a bundle of cash.
He is then seen throwing money at a dancer.
Another part of the clip also shows Kendry present at the location.
The Ecuador FA have released a statement about the video, naming the players under investigation for the incident.
“Images of events contrary to the values and principles that we [FEF] defend as an institution have been disseminated, with which will be a reason for analysis of future call-ups”.
