Romeo Lavia won't play again this season

Romeo Lavia has been ruled out until the end of the season, Chelsea have stated.

The defensive midfielder suffered a setback in his recovery which was expected to take place at the end of March.

Lavia has played only 32 minutes for Chelsea so far – in the Premier League against Crystal Palace back in December. He got sidelined with a serious thigh injury exactly that day.

The Blues signed the Belgian from Southampton for €62.1m as one of the hottest prospects in his position.
