Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola still believes that Mauricio Pochettino is a good fit for the club, despite a tough first season at Stamford Bridge.
He said on Up Front: "When they appointed him, I thought he was the best manager for the task because we had a project, we had to bring in young talent and develop them.
"I believe to do that job Pochettino is the best one. I didn’t expect all these difficulties.
"Whatever the main problem, I don’t know, because I am not every day with them. I still believe he’s a strong coach."
There appears to be a strong belief in Pochettino's methods among football people, even though the Blues have been a mid-table team for almost the whole season.
The coach's position will be reviewed at the end of the season which is a midway point in his contract with Chelsea.
