Poch wants more transfers: 'We need to analyse what we're missing'

Chelsea drew 2-2 with Sheffield United on Sunday. The Blues are now ninth in the table and Mauricio Pochettino has asked the board for more transfers.

"It is a normal process that has happened," Poch said after the game, as quoted by Football London.

"We need to accept, working and trying to fix this type of problem. Always when the end of the season arrives, we need to analyse the squad and what we are missing to try to add people with the capacity to provide what we are seeing today, to improve in the next seasons.

"It's about to identify the profile. We are learning how the players need to learn our demands from the coaching staff. It's always a process to build and have the capacity to take a decision, but the right decision, and one you have to agree with the coaching staff, the sporting directors and the owners. Otherwise it is not easy to improve."

Chelsea have spent over £1bn under the ownership of Todd Boehly and Clearlake capital so far. However, it sometimes feels that the Blues have gotten only worse — which is definitely the case with goalkeepers.
