'He's going to blow hot': Fan explains why Madueke penalty spat was a good thing

Noni Madueke, Nico Jackson and Cole Palmer were all involved in a lengthy spat in Chelsea's 6-0 win over Everton on Monday night.

After Chelsea were awarded a penalty, Madueke was first to pick up the ball, a move contested by Jackson, who Noni sent away.

Palmer stepped in to take the ball off Madueke and took the penalty but not without protest from the winger.

Although, the duo received some flak from pundits and fans for this spat, one fan explained why it is a good sign from Madueke to want the penalty so desperately.

"Noni has that fire in him," wrote BlueFooty on X. "He wants to do well desperately.

"I appreciate that but he needs to control himself and find a balance," he warns.

"But one thing is certain, he's going to blow hot sooner than later, he just needs to find some consistency.

"Never underestimate a player who works and has the fire to be the best not just to be comfortable. He's very ambitious and that's a good sign."
