Enzo, James & more: latest Chelsea injury updates and potential return dates before FA Cup semi-final

Chelsea are flying high on momentum heading into the huge FA Cup semi-final against Man City at the weekend.

Mauricio Pochettino is aware that winning this game will give his side a huge chance to win their first piece of silverware under him.

However, there are still a lot of injury issues that keep plaguing Chelsea. Here we look at all the injured players and when they can be expected to return.

Enzo Fernandez, Raheem Sterling, Axel Disasi, Robert Sanchez

All the four Chelsea players are poised to make a return to action against Man City. Enzo and Disasi missed the last game due to minor issues, while Sterling and Sanchez were ill. It’s unlikely that minor problems will keep either from participating in this big game.

Levi Colwill

Colwill is slowly, but surely recovering from the ankle injury that he suffered in March. He is training hard to be fit, but is unlikely to be able to feature in the next game or two.

Christopher Nkunku

Pochettino has remained really quiet over the fitness of Nkunku and when he can be expected to return from his thigh injury. He is yet to restart training, and is unlikely to feature anytime soon.

Reece James

James is still working hard to recover from thigh surgery and regain full fitness before being able to captain Chelsea again. He could be back for the end-of-season run-in if his recovery goes without any complications.

Lesley Ugochukwu

The French midfielder has been troubled by injuries over the last few months and working had to recover from a thigh injury. He should be able to return to first-team training soon and might feature in the final few games.

Romeo Lavia & Wesley Fofana

Lavia has seen his debut season at Chelsea tormented by injuries, restricting him to only one appearance. Fofana has not even been able to do that because of knee issues. Both these players are only likely to return to action next season.
