Conor Gallagher spoke about his idols from the England football team over the years and named one player who he thought was perfect.
“I remember watching England and the team with Lampard, David Beckham and Steven Gerrard when I was younger," said Gallagher.
“Frank is a legend of Chelsea and England – he obviously got over 100 caps and a good amount of goals too.
"For someone to look up to, he is perfect for me. I don’t remember so many [details] of the games watching it back then as I was a bit younger, but now it just means the world to pull on an England shirt."
Gallagher has been a key player for Chelsea this season and put up good performances when the team was struggling.
He will be hoping to be on the plane to Germany this summer where the England squad will fly for the Euro 2024.
