'He is training really well': Pochettino on whether Reece James can make it to Euro 2024 squad

Mauricio Pochettino was asked whether he believes Reece James can still make it to England's Euro 2024 squad, having recently returned from injury.

"Yes," said the Chelsea boss. "He is training really well and now we need to control the game-time because we want him to finish the season really, really strong.

"He is doing really well and tomorrow we hope he can play more than he did against Nottingham Forest."

Considering James has been out of action for so long, realistically it would be hard for Gareth Southgate to select him for the England squad.

There is a lot of competition for the right-back position in England and Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kyle Walker have been involved a lot more than James has.
