Man United keen on Cucurella again & 2 more under-radar stories at Chelsea today

Jackson's lack of discipline explained

Sky Sports analyst Lewis Jones believes Chelsea's tactical setup is behind Nicholas Jackson's poor discipline record in his season at Stamford Bridge.

He said: "Jackson sure does love a foul and knows how to mix it with defenders. Playing as the lone front man can be a frustrating experience at times and he's been carded 10 times, making 21 fouls in his last 19 starts."

Man United keen on Cucurella again

According to TEAMtalk, Marc Cucurella is back on Man United's radar ahead of the summer transfer window.

United eyed a loan move for the Spaniard last summer but went for Sergio Reguilon instead. Since then, Cucurella's stock at Chelsea has risen thanks to his performances as an inverted full-back in recent matches.

VAR unlikely to be scrapped

As per the BBC, the Premier League clubs are unlikely to vote in favour of scrapping VAR for the next season.

The rule change must be approved by 14 out of 20 clubs, and Wolves are the only club so far to openly call for VAR to be removed.
