Chelsea have contacted the representatives of Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna, reports The Guardian's Jacob Steinberg.
The 38-year-old also emerges as a target for Manchester United and Brighton, with the latter really pushing for his arrival. In fact, there is 'confidence' that Brighton can seal the deal, but he might still end up at one of the other clubs.
McKenna has led Ipswich to the long-awaited Premier League promotion. Overall, he boasts a record of 76 wins, 35 draws and only 20 losses out of 131 matches.
The manager is praised for his attacking football based on high press, possession and ball control.
Chelsea are yet to decide whether they will sack Mauricio Pochettino this summer. However, they are already preparing the list of his replacements just in case.
