How much will Pochettino be compensated after his Chelsea exit - revealed

Mauricio Pochettino has left Chelsea after less than a year in charge at Stamford Bridge and will be entitled to payment after the end of his tenure.

According to the Telegraph, Mauricio is due a "significant" compensation. With 18 months left on his deal, Pochettino was said to be on a package worth more than £10 million. Any payment this season could also affect Chelsea's profits and the stability of their results this season.

However, the parties have come to a joint decision, meaning that while the money owed to Pochettino may be huge, it is likely to be a smaller figure than if he had been sacked.

Chelsea's owners were already obliged to pay £10 million when they fired Thomas Tuchel, and Graham Potter was due £13 million after he was fired in April 2023.
