Romano names 3 managers in 'open race' for Chelsea position

Chelsea sacked Mauricio Pochettino on Tuesday and are looking for a new manager. Fabrizio Romano has shared the latest update.

"Thomas Frank, Kieran McKenna, Enzo Maresca have all been mentioned internally at Chelsea. It’s still open race," the journalist tweeted.

"Seb Hoeneß remains highly rated but considered difficult to appoint.

"No talks with Kompany (on Bayern list), Tuchel, Flick or Conte. Internal discussions on."

Frank has done a good job with Brentford on one of the Premier League's lowest budgets. McKenna took Ipswich from League One to the Premier League in two seasons. Maresca won the Championship with Leicester in his first season with the Foxes.
