Premier League top dribbler names Chelsea player as his toughest opponent in 2023/24

"I've played against so many good defenders," Jeremy Doku has told the media.

"Now it's become so much more difficult with teams playing more defensively. I'd say Reece James [is the toughest defender I've ever faced]. I think he is a very strong defender, and one of the hardest I've ever played against," the Belgian added.

Doku played against James only once this season – for almost an hour in the 4-4 thriller last year.

The Chelsea man who deserves more credit for keeping Doku quiet should be Malo Gusto who did very well against the 21-year-old earlier this year.

Jeremy Doku has finished second in the number of successful take-ons completed in this Premier League season, West Ham's Mohammed Kudus ending the campaign on top.
