'He did a great job': Eden Hazard believes Chelsea should've kept Mauricio Pochettino

In an interview with talkSPORT, Eden Hazard was asked what he thought about Chelsea's decision to let Mauricio Pochettino walk after one season.

"I was a bit sad, to be fair. I think that he did a great job," the former Chelsea winger said.

"I know that people want Chelsea to be in the top four but it’s just a season of transition.

"He’s a great manager, I wish him good luck and let’s see who is going to be there in the future."

Chelsea's hierarchy clearly disagrees with Hazard. Pochettino has officially left by mutual consent, but it was effectively a sacking after the season review conducted by co-owner Behdad Eghbali and sporting directors.
