A supporter in Real Madrid fan community wrote: "Just want to say goodbye to La Liga, Copa del Rey and Champions League. Even bye-bye to El Classico as Neymar is about to come to Barcelona.

"We didn't have a chance even if he wasn't there, we still lost massively to them. So I'm officially saying goodbye to it all till we reinforce with better players. Then we can win something."

Mr Kenog bemoans not replacing Cristiano Ronaldo: "We had a player that scores 50 goals every season. Now we don't even have a player that can score just 30 goals or a team that can score together 90 goals and above. Shame on Madrid policies."
