Klopp lifts lid on what he told Messi after 3-0 defeat at Camp Nou

Jurgen Klopp insists he doesn't remember exactly what he told Lionel Messi after the Reds were beaten at the Camp Nou but reckons it must have been a question referring to the Argentine's free-kick goal.

Messi scored a brace against Liverpool on Wednesday. His second goal was a stunning free-kick that sealed the 3-0 win for the Catalans and has made us favourites to get to the Champions League final.

After the final whistle, Jurgen Klopp gave Messi a trademark bear hug and said something. Prior to the return leg, the German tactician has urged his players to be solid and perfect if they want to get something against Messi and Co.

"I don’t know if I said something, really. At that moment, I might have said ‘why did you do that?!,' Jurgen told the press conference.

"Wherever Messi is, he will be difficult to deal with. If you take risks against Barcelona they punish you. You have to be solid all of the time. It looks like we have to be perfect. It should be a football party. It’s possible it’s our last CL game of the season so let’s celebrate it with our legs and our lungs."

What kind of result are you expecting?
