Mundo Deportivo: Barca ready to start 'intense exit operation' with main 10 candidates to leave

A massive exodus is planned at Barcelona in the upcoming days. In order to raise money for the big-name arrivals and balance the books, they would have to sell a number of the first-team players. There are talks in the Catalan press that the club need at least 60-65 million euros by the end of June.

Mundo Deportivo provide further details on the so-called 'exit operation' which is expected to begin shortly. As many as ten players could be forced to leave the Camp Nou stadium. Let's take a look at the list of the alleged departures:

Philippe Coutinho is the number one candidate to leave, as per Mundo Deportivo. However, the Catalans would only agree on the €100million deal, no less. The Brazilian is still linked with Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Chelsea but the latter are still hit with the two-window transfer ban.

Jasper Cillessen won't be allowed to leave for less than €30million which makes his departure more complicated. The 30-year-old is seeking the first-team football and admits his transfer fee could be an obstacle. Still, he has grabbed interest from the Portuguese giants, Premier League clubs, AS Roma and Valencia.

Ivan Rakitic is still valued highly by Ernesto Valverde. However, he is one of the few Barca players who could command a huge transfer fee. That's why the coach wouldn't prevent him from leaving if a suitable offer comes.

Nelson Semedo allegedly considers leaving Barcelona but the Catalans don't want to sell the talented Portuguese defender. If Madrid-based Marca are to be trusted, they have priced him at €60million.

Even though Malcom has made it clear he wants a second chance at Barca, the club's representatives are expected to sit down for the negotiations over his exit with his agent. The Brazilian was constantly snubbed by Ernesto Valverde last season even when the team were lacking an attacking player. Still, he managed to score four crucial goals.

Valverde doesn't count on either Denis Suarez and Rafinha. The former is looking forward to the potential Marcelino renewal at Valencia while the latter could be offloaded on a loan deal as soon as he completely recovers from a knee ligaments injury.

Andre Gomes is set to join Everton on a permanent basis after spending the 2018/2019 season with the Toffees. The deal is said to be worth €30million.

Finally, Barca loanees Marc Cucurella and Sergi Palencia are not expected to remain at the club even when their respective deals with Eibar and Bordeaux expire by July. They are set to leave for the combined transfer fee of €20million.
