BREAKING: La Liga postponed until further notice

Now it's official! La Liga won't resume matches until further notice due to the coronavirus pandemic, it has been confirmed this Monday.

Two matchdays have already been postponed with the competition expected to return on April 5.

However, it won't be the case. La Liga's decision is fully supported by the Spanish FA.

All other Spanish divisions have been suspended as well.

Previously, the English Premier League have been officially postponed by April 30.

Last Thursday, La Liga's president Javier Tebas stated that he expects the league games to resume in mid-May or at the end of May, the latest.

Earlier, Cadena SER reported that the Spanish top-tier and second-tier could return on April 23 the earliest.

UEFA plan the domestic league to be completed by June 30 as the European Championship were postponed until next summer, as it was made official last Tuesday.
