Antonio Conte: 'Messi is not joining Inter, not even in fantasy football. Don’t trust fake news'

"The rumours about Leo Messi to Inter are absolutely fake," Antonio Conte has told reporters following his side's win over Genoa.

"Don’t trust these fake news. He is not joining Inter, not even in fantasy football."

Rumours about Barca's captain joining the Nerazzurri started spreading after news of Jorge Messi, the player's father and agent, moving his residence to Italy. As Sky Sports Italia revealed later, he moved to Italy because of financial reasons.

The rumours have also been denied by the club's director Beppe Marotta.
