People forget Messi is not in it for the money, he wants to win win win, he want’s to feel that feeling of winning a trophy, cup, etc. or if he was for the money, he would have left for chelsea, epl, years agooo. I believe in Laporta will convince Messi to stay, but to be honest, i don’t think it will take much convincing to do, as Messi is already wanting to be at Barca, but also have a successful final contract of his career

Savyour Khoshi, can't help but agree with you. Yes, Messi does earn a lot of money, but that doesn't mean that money is the most important thing for him. He's got a huge contract, but he could've earned a lot more at a different club yet he never left.

There are 3 years that Barca does not win any trophies, only spends.  Coutinjo 160 ml, Grinzman 120 mil, Lazy 140 mil no trophy. Lucho 21, by state clubs I think Laporta means clubs that are sponsored by entire countries. Man City is owned by a state company from UAE, PSG by Qatar. Unlike Barca, where you have to earn your money, Man City and PSG owners can pump money into the club as they wish.

Unlike his former statements that doesn't sound very promising. What is this state clubs skipping financial FP? So he already prepared his excuse?
I don't believe Messi will choose to leave simply because other clubs offer him more money. However If the problem is money, Laporta must agree to pay whatever Messi desires. There is no replacement for Messi and I'm not saying that as a compliment. Dembele, Griezmann, Coutinho and probably Haaland altogether won't be as effective as Messi's right foot.
