'I feel good giving assists': Braithwaite on his Elche performance

"I'm very happy [with the Elche result]. We had a good game and now it's time to focus on Saturday's game against Sevilla," Martin Braithwaite told Barca TV after the game.

"I think this is the first time I have given two assists in a game, but I hope it is not the last time. I saw Messi and I tried to help him score, as with Alba in the third goal. I feel good giving assists," the Dane added.

Interestingly, it wasn't actually the first time Braithwaite provided 2 assists in one game. As a Leganes player, the forward scored a goal and got two goal-leading passes against Sevilla in May 2019.

Against Elche on Wednesday, the 29-year-old beautifully assisted Leo Messi with his back heel and Jordi Alba with his head.
