Barca and Juventus discuss Pjanic-Bentacur swap, operation currently on hold (reliability: 5 stars)

A few weeks ago, Barcelona and Juventus discussed a swap deal involving Miralem Pjanic and Rodrigo Bentancur, RAC1's very reliable Gerard Romero reports. The operation has been put on hold, although the two clubs leave the door open for possible summer movements, it's said.

Pjanic joined Barca from Juve last year in exchange for Arthur. The Bosnian, however, has failed to make his presence at Camp Nou noticeable. This term so far, the 31-year-old has played only 1,275 minutes across 28 games the Catalans, as per Transfermarkt. He's yet to register a goal contribution.

As for Bentancur, he's a regular starter at Juventus, having played 42 games for the Bianconeri this season. The 23 years old Uruguay international has contributed 4 assists.

Chelsea and Inter Milan 'willing to bid' for Miralem Pjanic this summer (reliability: 4 stars)

Chelsea and Inter Milan are 'willing to bid' for Miralem Pjanic at the end of the season, Diario Sport report.

The midfielder has struggled to become a regular starter at Barcelona since joining the club in a €60m move from Juventus last summer.

As per the source, the 31-year-old is very aware of the fact that his playing time is unlikely to increase next season if Ronald Koeman remains in charge of the Blaugrana.

Even though Pjanic has played a total of 1265 minutes across all competitions this term, the Blues and the Nerazzurri are interested in his services.

Neither of the clubs, however, are ready to spend big on the Bosnian with a loan move said to be the 'most viable option' as of now.

Barca planning to loan out Puig and Pjanic after Moriba's emergence (reliability: 4 stars)

As a result of Ilaix Moriba's emergence, Barcelona consider parting ways with Riqui Puig and Miralem Pjanic over the summer, MARCA report. The match against Granada served as an indication that Ronald Koeman prefers Ilaix over both Puig and Pjanic as he was the chosen one to replace Pedri in the starting XI.

The Catalans will make Miralem available for loan in order to at least get rid of his wages, it's claimed. Selling him is deemed impossible because of his high market value.

As for Riqui, the Barca will offer him a loan but it remains unclear whether he would accept it or opt to continue at Camp Nou. Koeman advised him to leave on loan at the beginning of the season but the 21-year-old refused.

Finally, Moriba is expected to be promoted to the first team for the upcoming season. In the last two months, Ilaix has played 324 minutes across 12 games, which is way more than Puig (4 games, 17 minutes) and Pjanic (1 game, 12 minutes) did.
