Barca open to swapping Alba for Inter's Bastoni (reliability: 5 stars)

Barcelona would be open to swapping Jordi Alba for Inter Milan's centre-back Alessandro Bastoni, ESPN's Moises Llorens and Sam Marsden report.

Alba remains one of the team's top earners while the club aim at reducing the wage bill in the summer, it is explained.

The player himself isn't interested in leaving Camp Nou this year.

Mundo Deportivo were the first to report about the possible swap deal but there was no information regarding the Nerazzurri's player involved.

Bastoni was a regular starter for Antonio Conte's Serie A-winning side, recording 4 assists.

The 22-year-old is a great passer (90.5 per cent average passing success last term) but he rarely dives into tackles, recording just 1.1 tackles per game last season.

Inter Milan keen on Jordi Alba, to offer swap deal (reliability: 4 stars)

Inter Milan are interested in signing Jordi Alba this summer, according to Mundo Deportivo.

As per the reliable Catalan source, the Nerazzurri are willing to include some players into a swap deal involving the left-back.

The Blaugrana, on the other hand, are unlikely to sell the 32-year-old unless they sign a replacement, especially with Junior Firpo set to leave the club in the coming weeks.

On the other hand, Barca could be forced to offload Alba if he refuses to accept a wage cut.
